22-11-2024

This is an online E Log book to discuss our patient's de-identified health data shared after taking his signed informed consent. Here we discuss our patient's problems through series of inputs from available global online community experts with an aim to solve those patient's clinical problems with collective current best evidence based inputs.

PPM 1 - Afternoon session: 80M with marked left sided volume loss in the chest.
Came with paraparesis exacerbated after a fall from bed but walking with stick due to felt imbalance and weakness since 6 yrs. Diabetic since 15 yrs.

PPM 1 - Although never treated earlier for tuberculosis looks like thats what may explain his volume  loss due to untreated tuberculosis causing left upper lobe fibrosis although @PPM3 and PPM4 we need to ensure his sputum AFB tests with CBNAAT are done. Please don't transfer to orthopedic as there's no orthopedic intervention necessary at this juncture.

Bedside quick clinical evaluation of an old man.

PPM 2 - Fluorosis or Chondrocalcinosis (on X rays) can be pursued?
