Bedside: 45M with metabolic syn and sudden anuria with not a drop of urine! When we got a few drops to test from the lab bench even that turned out to be normal! The radiology bench provided further insights.

There were stones blocking both his ureters!

The uroteam were the heroes here as the first day's entire urine output was 40 ml before they put these catheters and removed the stones and the urine output improved hundred fold to 4000 ml the next day!

Post removal of ureteric stones anuria turned to polyuria with 4 litres urinary output everyday.

The creatinine climbed down slowly as shown in the attached investigation chart 👆

He also complains of polyarthritis since 3 years and currently has bilaterally symmetric hand joints arthritis along with other large joints involvement.
