[19-06-2025 20.23] PPM 3: CHIEF COMPLAINT: Pain in the small joints since three years.
HOPI: The patient was apparently asymptomatic three years ago.
Then she developed pain in her small joints, including the proximal interphalange joints of the upper limb, the wrists, and the ankles, which was insidious in onset, gradually progressive, aggravated in the mornings and during working, no relieving factors.
She was diagnosed as a case of rheumatoid arthritis and has been on medication since.
Her medication history is:
Tab Methotrexate once weekly
Tab Folic Acid once weekly (the day after taking methotrexate)
Tab Prednisolone (used to take 10mg, has now switched to 7.5mg)
